Plans have been finalized. Layout work for this Dog Park is beginning this week. Surveying for the plumbing, for the fountains, and fencing and trails is to begin. There is no estimate when the park should open, but the work should go faster, since the learning curve has improved while building the Alexander Deussen Dog Park.

The heavy rain
fall from yesterday set the crews back a few days. The fine leveling around the
benches is pending and two low spots with standing water require fill. It will
probably be opened one day next week if the rains hold back.
The official grand opening will not be scheduled till the fall when the hot
weather has moderated.
